Jessica manages multiple clean energy projects for Northwest SEED,including our Tribal Energy Program. She is also responsible for providing technical expertise on other Northwest SEED renewable energy and energy efficiency efforts, such as collecting and analyzing data from Our Wind Co-op’s installed turbines, as well as the evaluation of potential wind turbine sites. Since joining Northwest SEED she has completed certificate programs in GIS technology and Energy Management. She holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and a MSME from the University of Washington.
Linda Irvine, Project Manager

As one of Northwest SEED’s Project Managers, Linda works to advance the development of community energy strategies and projects. Current efforts include management of Northwest SEED's Community Solar Program. Linda began her energy career with an internship at Renewable Northwest Project, creating the first survey of utility green power offerings for the Pacific Northwest. She subsequently worked as a Program Manager for Portland Energy Conservation, Inc. helping to create and deploy on-the-ground efficiency programs for the grocery sector, and as the Community Resource Conservation Manager for the city of Langley, Washington. Linda has also been leading an effort to implement a community solar project in her local community. Linda holds a B.A. in Russian and East European Studies from Yale University and a teaching certificate from U.C. Berkeley’s Bay Area Writing Project.
Leslie Neel, Finance and
Operations Manager

Leslie Neel is responsible for all accounting and administrative functions at Northwest SEED. Before joining the organization, Leslie served as CFO for Habitat for Humanity of Seattle/SKC and the Arboretum Foundation. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Western Washington University and holds a CPA license in the State of Washington.
Leslie Craig, Solar and Policy Intern

Lauren joined Northwest SEED in August 2011 to support the organization's solar energy programs and conduct policy research. With three years of experience in solar energy system design and installation, Lauren became interested in renewable energy policy and incentive programs while working on her M.S. in International Development at Tulane University. As the Solar Program Coordinator for the Alliance for Affordable Energy, Lauren performed policy research and outreach in support of the City of New Orleans' Solar America Cities program. She also gathered data for the New Orleans Solar Map, hosted monthly solar roundtable meetings of industry professionals, and organized the 2011 Solar Day Business Expo and Solar Home Tour for the Gulf States Renewable Energy Industries Association. Her research into solar energy financing models for low-income communities sparked her interest in exploring innovative community ownership programs. Lauren is also certified in PV design and installation by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP), and is a contributing writer for EarthTechling, a green-tech blog based in Portland, OR.
